Remove Duplicate Music (also known as Duplicate Music Finder) is an excellent and complete tool that lets you scan your hard drive looking for duplicate files, in order to remove redundant music.
The way that Remove Duplicate Music works is the following: it completes a minute check of your hard drive or external drives you indicate, generating a list of all the duplicated information. You can filter the searches so you only get a certain genre or format (for example just MP3).
In the Remove Duplicate Music configuration options you can specify if you want to automatically delete the duplicates found, or if on the contrary you want to make the decisions yourself on which to delete and which to keep.
